Two (2) groups namely the Jirapa Area Development Associaion (JAYDA) and the DRM Committee in Shai Osudoku were exposed to the tailor-made score card matrix that focuses on tracking expenditure on service delivery, gauging perception on quality and transparency, revenue sources and also serve as an advocacy tool to engage duty bearers in town hall meetings to ensure thers is social justice in the communities the district serves.

Beneficiaries of the training were drawn from  identifiable and active citizens groups i.e market women, youth, business sector and traditional authority who are representatives of the various citizens groups.

The training was held under the Domestic Revenue Mobilization Enhancement through Citizens Engagement with support from OXFAM.

As part of the efforts to sustain the gains that will be made and deepened, community ownership of the program, the trained citizens, will transition to become DRM Champions who will be responsible for promoting and creating awareness on the importance of DRM for pro-poor service delivery.
